Health Programme
SUCHETANA is a grass root level women organization, working with the blessings of almighty since over two decades for the upliftment of rural untouchable women and hapless children to aware them for snatching the human rights which they deprived since our independence. SUCHETANA was formed with the groups of women those are themselves oppressed and exploited. Social activist of SUCHETANA are not forgetting the numbers of rural women those are their colleagues are languishing under the yoke of slavery, prostitution and hazardous work?
Literacy Programmes
They also kept a close vigil on the process of development, being followed by different agencies. Accordingly apparently, most of the voluntary organization were engrossed in carrying out the directives of their respective top-level management and most of the projects and programmes were hardly, in line with the real needs of the target people. Unfortunately, the people with the reigns, mostly came from financially, educationally and culturally well-off strata of the society and so, the inevitable took place. A new sort of feudalistic trained started running the show.
Women Empowerment
Way back in late eighties, when the State of West Bengal, after witnessing the civil turmoil lasting a couple of years came to a near normalcy and some amount of stability came in side, political leaders shrugging off their other roles turned to reconstruct the State. Rural Development were duly prioritized by the public sector agencies and also the voluntary organization.
